Color groups are a guide: undertones shift with daylight and lamps, and one plank can sit in two groups. Pick up a free sample and look at it on your own floor.
Total plank thickness, attached pad included. A thicker plank feels more solid, sounds less hollow and bridges small subfloor dips better. It does not change scratch resistance: that is the wear layer.
Plank width. Wider planks mean fewer seams across the floor and a calmer room that reads larger; narrower planks look classic and suit small rooms. All our planks are 60 inches long.
Materials per square foot. Installation by our crews in the Sacramento area adds $2.35 per sqft; removal, baseboard and stairs are priced per room.
A collection is one spec (thickness, wear layer, width) in several colors. Mixing colors from one collection keeps the floor height and feel identical between rooms.

Matching honey oak to your home.
Honey and golden oak tones are back: warm, natural floors that look like oiled wood. These colors run from pale wheat to deep caramel.
If you have honey oak cabinets or trim, a matching floor can look like too much of one wood. The usual fix is contrast: a floor a step lighter (Wheat, Sunlit) or a step deeper (Caramel, Butterscotch) than the cabinets. In a home with white or green cabinets, a true honey tone like Honey Oak or Golden Oak brings the warmth back.
All of these are waterproof SPC planks with an attached pad, so a warm wood look can run through the kitchen and baths too.

Honey & golden oak questions, answered straight.
Does honey oak flooring go with honey oak cabinets?
Better with contrast: pick a floor a shade lighter or darker than the cabinets so the two woods do not compete.
Is honey oak flooring back in style?
Yes. Warm, golden wood tones have replaced cool grays in many new remodels.
What wall colors go with honey oak floors?
Warm whites, creams, sage and muted greens. Very cool grays can make the floor look orange.
