Color groups are a guide: undertones shift with daylight and lamps, and one plank can sit in two groups. Pick up a free sample and look at it on your own floor.
The clear top layer that takes scratches, scuffs and claws. It decides how long the floor looks new, not how thick it feels. 12 mil suits bedrooms, offices and rentals; 20 mil is the commercial spec for kitchens, hallways and pets.
Total plank thickness, attached pad included. A thicker plank feels more solid, sounds less hollow and bridges small subfloor dips better. It does not change scratch resistance: that is the wear layer.
Plank width. Wider planks mean fewer seams across the floor and a calmer room that reads larger; narrower planks look classic and suit small rooms. All our planks are 60 inches long.
Materials per square foot. Installation by our crews in the Sacramento area adds $2.35 per sqft; removal, baseboard and stairs are priced per room.
A collection is one spec (thickness, wear layer, width) in several colors. Mixing colors from one collection keeps the floor height and feel identical between rooms.

Where the low price comes from.
Every color on this page costs under $3 per square foot and still has a rigid, waterproof SPC core and an attached pad. The savings come from wear layer and thickness, which we list on every plank, not from a hollow core.
KONO Essentials at $2.20 per sqft is a 5.5 mm plank with a 12 mil wear layer: the right floor for rentals, flips and bedrooms. At $2.80, KONO Valley adds a thicker 2 mm pad, and KONO Pacific steps up to a 20 mil wear layer. You pay for the spec your rooms need and nothing on top.
Installed by our crews, these floors start at $4.55 per sqft in the Sacramento area, with removal, baseboard and stairs priced per room on the estimate. The calculator gives you the full number before you call.
