How a KONO floor reaches you.
Top quality at the best price. That is the entire business model.
Everything below exists to make that sentence true. KONO is a flooring store and distributor: we select the collections, buy them in volume from established flooring manufacturers, check every shipment that lands at our Sacramento warehouse, and sell to homeowners, property managers and contractors, right up to the moment our crews click the last plank into place in your home.

01
Collections selected each season
We look at what is actually going into California homes right now and carry only that. Every collection earns its place, zero filler.
-
02
Selected worldwide, stocked in Sacramento
We buy from established flooring manufacturers and hold the stock ourselves, so the spec is fixed before the container is booked: 12 mm · AC5 · Uniclic on laminate, 20 mil wear layer on LVP. The manufacturer warranty travels with every box.

Checked by our people, not by paperwork
Every shipment is inspected when it lands at our warehouse, roughly every tenth pallet opened: locking profile, thickness, color against the master board. Certified low-VOC on top. Verify: FloorScore® ↗ · CARB2 ↗

Who makes the floors KONO sells?
KONO is a flooring store and distributor in Sacramento. We select laminate, LVP and hardwood from established flooring manufacturers, buy in volume, and keep the stock in our own warehouse. Every box carries its lot number, the manufacturer warranty comes with it, and we will show you the product and test documentation on request.
Is KONO laminate really waterproof?
The surface is waterproof and we filmed a 72-hour immersion test to prove it. Standing water at the seams for days is a different story, which is why we say "surface-waterproof" and recommend LVP for full baths.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. Every installer is a KONO employee, background-checked and trained on our own product. That is how we can put labor and product under one lifetime warranty.
What does installation cost?
Installed laminate runs $5.49 to $7.99 per sqft, materials and labor together, and most homes land near $6.19, underlayment and standard trim included. Demolition, subfloor prep, and furniture moving are quoted line by line before work starts. See every published price →
Can I install it myself?
Yes. The Uniclic click system is DIY-friendly, and we will lend you the tapping block and pull bar with your order. Keep one spare box for future repairs; the box calculator adds it for you.
