Color groups are a guide: undertones shift with daylight and lamps, and one plank can sit in two groups. Pick up a free sample and look at it on your own floor.
The clear top layer that takes scratches, scuffs and claws. It decides how long the floor looks new, not how thick it feels. 12 mil suits bedrooms, offices and rentals; 20 mil is the commercial spec for kitchens, hallways and pets.
Total plank thickness, attached pad included. A thicker plank feels more solid, sounds less hollow and bridges small subfloor dips better. It does not change scratch resistance: that is the wear layer.
Plank width. Wider planks mean fewer seams across the floor and a calmer room that reads larger; narrower planks look classic and suit small rooms. All our planks are 60 inches long.
Materials per square foot. Installation by our crews in the Sacramento area adds $2.35 per sqft; removal, baseboard and stairs are priced per room.
A collection is one spec (thickness, wear layer, width) in several colors. Mixing colors from one collection keeps the floor height and feel identical between rooms.

Click lock or glue down?
Every KONO LVP plank locks to its neighbor along the edges and floats over the subfloor. No adhesive, no trowel, and a damaged plank can be swapped instead of scraped up.
Glue down vinyl is thin and flexible and gets troweled to the floor; it is common in commercial spaces. Click lock planks need a rigid core to hold the joint, which is why all of ours are SPC. A floating floor goes in faster, goes over most existing hard floors and can be lifted later without damaging the slab.
Floating has two rules: the subfloor must be flat to about 3/16 inch over 10 feet, and the floor needs a small gap at the walls to move. Our crews check flatness before quoting. Installed, click lock LVP starts at $4.55 per sqft in the Sacramento area.

Click lock (floating) questions, answered straight.
Can click lock vinyl plank go over tile?
Usually. If the tile is flat and grout lines are under 1/4 inch wide, the planks float straight over it. Wider grout gets a skim coat first, priced as its own line.
Is a floating vinyl floor less durable than glue down?
Not for homes. A rigid SPC plank with a tight click joint handles normal household traffic for years. Glue down wins only under rolling heavy loads, like a commercial kitchen.
Can I install click lock LVP myself?
Yes, it is the most DIY-friendly floor we sell. The hard parts are undercutting door jambs and stairs; our crews do those if you prefer.
