Picking the right light floor.
Pale floors make rooms brighter and bigger and hide dust and pet hair better than dark ones. These are our lightest KONO Harbor colors: a creamy oak, a light beige oak and a pale gray oak.
Ivory Oak is warm and creamy and suits white and wood cabinets. Sandbar Oak is a light beige that keeps a natural wood look. Frost Oak is a pale gray with a cool, coastal feel for white and gray kitchens.
Light floors show dark grit and mud, so a mat at the door helps. Look at a sample in morning and evening light before you decide. Installed, light laminate starts at $5.35 per sqft in the Sacramento area.
