KONO Wall Panels · 4 designs · intro pricing

Wall panels in Sacramento, stone drama to quiet slats.

Gold-vein boards for the statement wall. Oak slats that eat the echo.

Two families, one program: large-format stone-look boards (1260 by 2800 mm, a full wall in one or two pieces, no grout) and slat acoustic panels (600 by 2400 mm, wood veneer over black PET felt, NRC 0.8). Both mount with screws or adhesive over finished drywall, both at a flat $9.00 per sqft introductory price.

The walls catch up with the floor.

Sacramento living rooms grew feature walls faster than any trend we track: fireplace surrounds, TV walls, headboard walls, powder rooms. The materials behind the look, slab stone and custom millwork, price most homes out. These panels are the honest shortcut: the stone look is a printed decor with a metallic vein on a rigid board, the slats are real veneer on an acoustic felt base, and either wall goes up in an afternoon without a tile saw or a grout float.

The program is new at KONO, so we run it the way we run floors: four designs stocked deep in Sacramento instead of a forty-page special-order catalog, one flat intro price, and hand samples riding along on every Mobile Showroom visit. Final spec sheets and volume pricing publish as the first full container lands; the designs themselves are locked.

Stone board vs slat: which wall?

Both families answer the same question (what finishes this wall?) in opposite voices. The gold-vein boards are loud on purpose: one wall, maximum weight. The slats are quiet twice over: warm to look at, and they physically calm the room's echo.

  • Fireplace, TV, and powder walls: one board is the statement, seams optional.
  • Bath walls: moisture-safe and wipe-clean, silicone at the seams, zero grout to scrub.
  • Slab presence without slab problems: no sealing, no yellowing, no crane.

Choose slat acoustic if

  • The room echoes: home office, media wall, open kitchen. NRC 0.8 is a real correction.
  • You want warmth, not shine: real wood veneer over matte black felt.
  • You may want it back off the wall: screws through the felt base back out clean.

Wall Panels questions, answered straight.

Are the stone boards real marble?

No, and that is the point: a rigid large-format board with a printed stone decor and a metallic vein, at a fraction of slab weight and cost. No sealing, no yellowing; a damp cloth is the entire maintenance manual.

Can panels go in a bathroom?

The gold-vein boards, yes: moisture-safe and wipe-clean, with a bead of silicone at seams and edges in wet zones. Keep the slat acoustic panels out of direct-spray areas; felt and steam are not friends.

Do KONO crews install wall panels?

Our crews install KONO floors. Panels are deliberately DIY-friendly: adhesive for the boards, screws or glue for the slats, and a track saw cuts both. We will walk you through the layout at the showroom, or refer an installer we trust.

Why is the pricing marked introductory?

Because we publish prices, not surprises. $9.00 per sqft flat is our launch number while the first container lands and per-design costs settle; if a design settles lower, this page will say so.

See them in person.

Hand samples of every panel ride along on the Mobile Showroom van, and both families hang full-size on our Midtown wall. Panels are DIY-friendly; we will talk you through the layout either way.
