Why the price says introductory: the wall program is new at KONO. $9.00 per sqft flat is the launch number for all four designs while the first container lands and per-design costs settle; final spec sheets publish with it. The designs themselves are locked.
See it in person.
Hand samples of every panel ride along on the Mobile Showroom van, and both families hang full-size on our Midtown wall. DIY-friendly by design; we will talk you through the layout.
From homes that live on it.
“One accent wall behind the TV and the room stopped needing art. Wipes clean with a damp cloth.”
Devon Marsh, Land Park
“We priced real granite for the bar wall first. This was a tenth of the quote and nobody has guessed.”
Yana Kovaleva, Folsom
Owner questions.
Is Nero Gold real stone?
No, and that is the point: a rigid large-format board with a printed stone decor and a metallic vein, at a fraction of slab weight and cost. No sealing, no yellowing; a damp cloth is the entire maintenance manual.
Can it go in a bathroom or behind a stove?
Bathrooms, yes: the board is moisture-safe and wipe-clean; run silicone at seams and edges in wet zones. Behind a cooktop, keep the clearances your building code asks of any combustible finish, exactly as you would with wood paneling.
How is it installed?
Adhesive mount on flat drywall or backer, butt-joined seams. One 1260 by 2800 mm board covers a powder-room wall in a single piece; a track saw and a helper handle the rest. KONO crews install floors, so for panels we coach the layout and can refer an installer we trust.
How do seams look on a wide wall?
Boards butt tight, and on a flat wall the seam reads as a hairline in the pattern. Plan the layout before the adhesive opens so seams land where the eye does not rest, and order the print-matched pair for bookend walls.
